Responsibilities/Expectations
Technical Quality Lead, who owns, enjoys & contributes towards quality of the whole product, covering functional, automation, performance, scalability, usability testing & beyond. End-End Quality ownership, driving org to achieve current and future needs.
Technical skills
- Strong expertise in understanding product domain, architecture and come up with Test Strategy.
- Skillful in covering system needs and achieves almost 100% test coverage.
- Mentors team in test strategy, test coverage and automation coverage areas.
- Tracks key quality metrics, identifies goals and achieves continuous improvement.
- Very strong expertise in UI and API automation.
- Expert in improving and extending automation frameworks.
- Ability to deploy and debug applications in Test Environments
- Good programming knowledge in Java (Python, JS is a bonus)
- Working knowledge of any Cloud Platforms (Amazon AWS, Azure etc)
- Exposure to functional domains like Supply Chain, ERP, CRM (any will do)
- Identifies improvement areas and contributes to achieve higher customer satisfaction

Responsibilities
- Understands the product feature needs and comes up with Test strategy and plan ensuring functional and non-functional needs.
- Works very closely with the PMs, Devs etc and be quality advocate within the organisation.
- Automate test cases and contribute towards enhancing automation frameworks.
- Guides team and mentors them on all aspects of testing and quality improvements.
- Involve & participate actively in defect analysis, drive RCA and bring them to closure.
- Set up quality goals and drive them to success.
- Applies “Test Pyramid” model and ensures quality is built-in across Product life cycle.
- Constantly evaluate, research and perform PoCs for new tools & solutions resulting in higher productivity, efficiency and positive business outcomes.
